David Larkin
David LarkinCo-Founder and Managing Director
David has been with DTD since the beginning. Dave is a qualified Fitter & Turner and therefore originally worked in the workshop however, Dave now spends his time in the front office, liaising with some of our biggest and long term clients and managing projects. Dave still finds time to escape the office and head out to the workshop to assist with testing and cleaning of freezer plates, just for something different. On days when Dave escapes the office entirely, he spends most of his time playing golf, relaxing and travelling.
Thomas Lappin
Thomas LappinCo-Founder and Managing Director
An original; Tom is a Co-Founder and Managing Director. Although Tom is a qualified Boilermaker/Welder; he now spends his time keeping an eye on the daily business activities and overseeing payments and the estimating department. Tom often finds himself talking football and has a keen interest in horse racing.
Cameron Hawke
Cameron HawkeBusiness Manager
When he’s not watching basketball, playing basketball, coaching basketball or analysing basketball statistics, Cameron can be found in the DTD office, taking up his role as Business Manager. Having a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety allows Cam to have a firm understanding of all components of the business. Cam spends his time at work ensuring all aspects of DTD are running smoothly and labour is allocated appropriately whilst compiling and updating our current Policy & Procedure Manuals to ensure the business is at its best. However, majority of Cam’s working week is taken by oversight of top management and internal communications
Tex Cottle
Tex CottleQuality Assurance Officer
An avid outdoors and family man, Tex puts his heart in to everything he does; that is why he is our Quality Assurance Officer. Tex began with DTD in 1996 and is a qualified Boilermaker; he became a Leading Hand and is now in Quality Assurance. Tex’s day mostly consists of checking weld procedures, ensuring paperwork is completed correctly, completing paperwork, overseeing work processes and conducting testing. Tex loves to escape the hustle and bustle and can be found outdoors in his spare time taking part in activities from hunting and fishing to simply gardening or reading.
Corey Duncan
Corey DuncanKason Sales
DTD Engineering are the only licensed Australia/New Zealand distributor of Kason machines and spares, all Kason enquiries go through Corey, DTDs Machine Shop/Kason Supervisor. Corey runs a dedicated team of tradesman in his workshop and also organises required shut/maintenance work projects. Corey has been a part of the DTD team for 16 years now and continues to surprise us with his dry humour and witty remarks. He is kept busy outside of work by his four children.
Adrian Grant
Adrian GrantSales & Estimating Manager
Adrian is our Sales & Estimating Manager. Adrian started with DTD as a Boilermaker and left to manage his own contracting business; he later returned as a contractor for us and ended up taking the lead in the Sales & Estimating department. Adrian is commonly known around the place as Barney and outside of work he loves to be out on the waters fishing or spending time with family.
Pete Micallef
Pete MicallefWorkshop Manager
Peter is our freshest face, moving into the position of Workshop Manager. Pete’s our main man out the back; overseeing all projects, liaising with customers, managing all the hard workers in the workshop and assisting with construction. To clear his mind from work, he enjoys travelling, spending his down time with family and friends and enjoying good food.
David Buckley
David BuckleyEstimators - Project Manager
As a qualified Fitter & Turner and a Draftsman and Rigger, David Buckley is the prime candidate for any project management or estimation you require. He is one of our Estimators/Project Managers and has been with the team at DTD for eight years now. When he hasn’t got his head in numbers, figures and drawings; Dave likes to waterski and has a keen interest in boats and cars.
