We have dedicated sandblasting and spray painting facilities with an area of 650m², capable of processing the largest components from trailers to tanks.

Tail Shaft Balance & Repair

DTD Engineering has the facilities to manufacture new and/or repair drive shafts and dynamically balance; we are also able to balance impellers, rotors, armatures and fans as you need.

Profile Cutting

DTD has a Stealth Series Profile Cutter with two separate cutting torches allowing for both oxy-fuel and plasma profiling. Plasma cutting provides more consistent cut quality and can be performed on any type of conductive metal including; Mild, Hardened, Stainless Steels and Aluminium. The dual zone Oxy-fuel Process is commonly used when working with thicker Carbon & low alloy Steel. Materials are cut quickly & economically. We offer the expertise to complete your project from design to cut.


Manufacturing the product (Pressure Vessels, Pipe Spools, Structure, etc) is only half the job. Should our client so require, DTD have a team of qualified Riggers, Fitters, Welders and other trades available to install the most complex or simple job on site. DTD have a fleet of three cranes and two trucks to enable us to deliver and erect most of our work, as well as expert contractors for all large scale cranage and trucking.

Machine Shop

Our Machine Shop workshop boasts:

  • 8 lathes – up to 5 metre between centres
  • Milling machines
  • Horizontal boring

Our cutting, welding and assembly procedures are quality controlled to provide our customers with the best available product.

Pressure Vessels

Tank and Pressure Vessel Fabrication is an important part of DTD’s operation in the Albury/Wodonga Region. We have a specially developed section within our workshop, with rotors and raised roof to facilitate the fabrication of all types of Tanks and Pressure Vessels to AS 1210.
