DTD Engineering was established in 1980, with two of the original co-founders still managing at the helm. Our workshop is located in Thurgoona; on the border of New South Wales and Victoria with site crews available to meet your requirement Australia wide. DTD services regional and national customers offering a huge range of products and services. DTD Engineering has developed lasting relationships with a large number of repeat customers in a vast range of industries including food/beverage processing, hydro electrical power generation, water articulation, timber & forest industries, oil refining and many more.

DTD have purchased an ART Metaltek XB1200 CNC Beam Coping Machine in 2022, this is a major addition to our workshop and allows us to efficiently process all hot and cold rolled structural steel profiles with the additional advantage of being able to cut and mitre pipe work up to 700dia. It supports profiles including RHS, SHS, UB, UC, PFC, TFC, EA, UA, Plate and Pipe. All copes, mitres, square cuts, slots and holes can be cut automatically, full bevel weld preps can be applied to all surfaces including underneath and Plasma etch marking is also a standard feature for part numbers, welding instructions, alignment marks etc. The advanced CNC controller reads industry standard DSTV and DXF drawing files supporting software packages such as Tekla, StruCad, AutoCad and many more.

DTD have also purchased an XR6000 Production CNC Router profile table in 2023, this will allow us to manufacture high quality plastics and aluminium parts with the efficiency of CNC control for accuracy and duplication of multiple items.

Our machine shop is operated from adjoining premises. New components are manufactured and extensive repair work is undertaken; providing new and reconditioned tail, drive and P.T.O. shafts for industry, motor vehicles and agricultural machinery.
